The City of Port St. Lucie passed an ordinance regulating the use of fertilizer. Lawn and Landscaping business owners are encouraged obtain the required certification prior to renewing their business tax receipt. Information is available from the University of Florida on its web site at http://stlucie.ifas.ufl.edu. Business tax receipts will not be issued without the necessary certification.
